Went to a TNS leaving do on Friday. The most common question asked of me by ex-colleagues was, "So what are you up to these days, are you doing a Matthew?"
If it is a dance, then I suspect it involves a lot of jumping up and down. Sort of the opposite of doing a Norm. At least if you are "doing a Matthew" people appear to have some term of reference for whatever you are up to ... "You're doing WHAT???" (surprise/confusion/disgust) leads to difficult conversations. Of course, if the Matthew you are "doing a" turns out to be Matthew Kelly then you have to start worrying.
